Project Overview
Beginning as a simple character design project, this creature became beloved to me. I gave her a personality (curious, shy, graceful, and a little moody) and a fictional environment for her to call home inside a book cover. I quickly realized that not only does reading create inspiration and happiness for others, but so does clothing, and so I created a faux t-shirt design.

My goal was to create a character that has a unique character design based off of a mythical creature—a dragon.

The color palette I utilized was blue, brown, and cream, which gives off both a natural and ethereal feel. I chose gold for the hand-lettering on the book cover to implement an element of majesty that the character design encompasses as well.
